Nikki, is your review for real!? I have used this Restaurant for many years now, and have never found the staff to be rude, in fact they are always very polite. If you sat there waiting for 25mins for your bill, perhaps it was because they didnt want to rush you. If you were wanting it quickly why didnt you drawn their attention and ask for it? I have always found the food to be good, and the staff pleasant. Also I have not had any troble with takeaways, I find if you ring your order through it usually takes no longer than than they tell you it will be. OK sometimes they are very busy, but doesn't that prove that people like what they are getting?

THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST INDIANS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. The service was awful- V V slow and the food was poor-tasteless. The staff were very very RUDE and at the end of the meal after waiting for 25 mins for the bill, i finally went over to pay at the desk and complain about the service- instead of apolagizing, the waiter told me I WAS A BAD CUSTOMER and that i should be more accommidating, however after 2 hours at a restaurant for 1 course i think i had been more than patient.
I thought that the reviews on this site were possibly given by staff at the other indians trying to give this one a bad name, but all the bad reviews on this site are completely accurate. The sercive is poor and the food is dismal. DO NOT GO.

My partner and I went to this restaurant instead of Didcot Tandoori a few doors down, to try it out. The service was attentive but oh so slow! We seemed to wait hours between course while take-away customers came and went every few minutes. The food itself was frankly sub par and we wouldn't return again. The only highlight was the keema naan, which was delicious. Everything else was absolutely covered in spring onion, bizarrely, definitely not somewhere I would go again, Didcot tandoori is ten million times better.

Main complaint about this place used to be the very slow service - we went recently and they have a new waiter. He was friendly and helpful and the service was very good. Worth another try if you haven't been for a while .......

Hear Hear we used to go to the Didcot Tandoori a few years ago but then discovered the Sun Koshi. Much more superior in service and food quality. The takeaways are tastier too.

If you're after a great evening and a lovely curry don't bother with this place, head for the Sun Koshi next door, it's far superior!
