NO COLD CALLING

What is the point of having signs in my window asking people to respect my wishes. Every bloody sunday we get the johova witnesses knocking and the we get the We could save you punds men fron N Power/BT/NTL. No cold calling means no cold calling right. so when these people come to my door i have the right to tel;l them to **ss off (or do i) the law is totaly on their side. Today whilst working away i had two men knocking on my door, i thought that by not answering it they would go away. How WRONG was i , just like the sodding johovas they stayed there with their clip boards waiting for me to come to the door, I do dot disagree with collecting for a Charity but there is a limit. I went to my door and asked the man in a high viz jacket and his side kick in a suit (very smart) just what is it they wanted. they replied that they were from helen douglas house Charity, I told the men i was busy and tried to shut my door, the man in the high viz jacket had a different idea he replied thats ok we will come back later what time would suit you, this person either thinks that he has the right to make appoints for me at any time or he is just a stupid prick. and now as i type away with my rant they have come back knocking (19:22) if i want to give to charity i will go to one of the many shops in didcot.
